Why do I need an IBCLC
(and not some other lactation professional)?
There are over a dozen lactation certifications out there. an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Counselor) is the gold standard an highest level.
Dr Erika has over 15 years of experience in supporting moms like you through their breastfeeding journey. As a chiropractor, IBCLC, and CST practitioner, Dr. Erika brings a unique blend of expertise to address run-of-the-mill breastfeeding issues but is especially passionate about treating tongue and lip ties (TOTs) effectively. What should I expect at my appointment?
First, these appointments are calm, supportive, and all about you and your baby.

At your first appointment after baby, we'll go over your birth and immediate postpartum story, listen to any concerns, weigh baby, observe a feeding, and come up with a game plan to address any roadblocks.
Why should I see Dr. Erika BEFORE
my baby arrives?
We highly suggest using one of your insurance-covered lactation appointments for a PRENATAL visit (before baby arrives)!
