Our Story
It all started with...
...meeting each other at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. We married in 2010, had our first child in 2011, and thus began a whirlwind of an adventure together. Dave was busy treating CrossFit and elite athletes, including former Olympians and professional golfers (and playing lots of free golf). Erika went into private practice, focused on functional medicine and prenatal care, which included adjusting women in labor for a local birth center. We lived in Austin, TX for a couple years and life was good. Until it wasn't.

When Erika's mom suffered a stroke and then passed away in 2013, we decided to move back to the central MN area to be closer to Erika's family. We started Accelerate Chiropractic & Rehab in St. Cloud, MN but Erika was quickly recruited by another clinic for her neuro-based approach. She worked for several years near the cities while Dave's practice filled quickly with patients who had tried everything for their chronic pain. Erika's passion for pregnancy and early childhood development continued to grow, so during our 3rd pregnancy in 2018, she took a leap of faith and went back into private practice. She quickly became the go-to resource for all things tongue and lip tie related, having been through a revision herself as an adult and supporting Dave and all three kids through frenectomies as well. She now teaches other professionals foundational knowledge regarding oral tethers.
When the world abruptly shifted in 2020, we knew we needed to join forces and thus, Accelerate Chiropractic became the family-focused clinic it is today! In 2023, we renamed our practice Accelerate Integrative Family Wellness to better reflect our array of providers and services. We continue to operate through a brain-based lens, so you know you are getting major and lasting results.
